President Trump has stated he wants to be president for another term.  Isn’t his behavior, actions, and words showing the exact opposite?

I know there are many political topics that I have no knowledge of.  Yet I can see and could see months ago that if the president took leadership in this pandemic to assure the American people that he cares about us, all of us. that we would be better off today, in many ways, economically and physically healthy.

Opening up slower

Be humble enough to allow scientists to do their jobs effectively.

If his goal is to get the economy up and running well. We could be further along if he had done the above tasks. 

What it looks like to me is his goals are to cultivate hate, cause greater systemic separation in the US, push people back out into the community, these are people in service positions these positions often held by individuals of lower-income, minorities, people who have less access to medical services. Hum, is that the end goal? 

At this time I am sad to live in a country that is at the mercy of this man. 

A man whose entire job is to serve the American people to keep us safe.  

We are now at 136,940 deaths in the US. I have been blessed to not have lost anyone due to COVID-19. 

My heart goes out to those who have lost a loved one. I wonder how many would have died if our leader had acting out of compassion and concern of the American people. Instead of what appears to be greed, power. 

Will these actions get this man re-elected? I can’t imagine.
